"Cooper Harlow, played to plotting and preening perfection by the handsome, multitalented James Nedrud."

"Nedrud shoulders the challenge of a character with a core of steel wrapped in an unfocused and flighty persona; his shoulders are equal to the task. We see a great deal of Nedrud, and all of him is easy on the eyes."
Aaron Hunt, New City Stage Review of Angry Fags "Nedrud channels a bit of Elvis and the Big Bopper for this incarnation of the Wolf. Sporting a leather jacket, pompadour, and a voice made for musicals, Nedrud’s Wolf is hysterically funny and the one-liners abound with double entendre. It has to be said that he scared some of the audience members into literally weeping and hiding under their parents. I am sure that some would say that is reason enough to tame down the ferocity of the character, but a moral tale needs a believable bad guy, and Nedrud makes a great bad guy. When he snarls “Hmm… I’m feeling puckish”, it is just menacing enough and hilarious as well. The character is broadly drawn and perfectly delineated by Nedrud’s performance."

"While everyone has their heart fully invested...it’s Nedrud’s Russell that steals the show, playing a vivacious queen thrilled to get a medal for excellence in grease monkeying and even happier to find love despite his insecurities."
Clint May, Chicago Theatre Beat Review of Under a Rainbow Flag "Nedrud has obviously played the musical scene before (his rendition of “The Army’s Handing Out Medals” with fellow actor Luis Herrera (Bender) was a highlight of the night), and I would love to see him elsewhere on stage. He knows how to play to a crowd and how to really work Tracy Strimple’s choreography."
Storefront City Review of Under a Rainbow Flag "James Nedrud is spot on with know-it- all William Barfee. Nedrud plays his character acting older than he is and trying to be very serious, which is just hilarious."
